              This new documentary presents
a narrative by four Palestinian refugee families living in the
Dheisheh Refugee Camp near Bethlehem.  From children to grandparents,
they speak about their lives and living conditions with sorrow,
frustration, hope and even humor.   An intimate portrait
of the lives of Palestinian refugees today.

              Also included in the
documentary, is rare footage from inside an Israeli prison in the

Darwish, Palestinian poet, Nakba Day, May 2001 - "Today
is our day of remembrance. We needn't look at what happened yesterday
to recall the chronology of crimes perpetrated. The present is
a living reminder of the catastrophe, the nakba, the tragic events
of which are still unfolding. We are still cut by the elements
of that tragedy here and now. We are still resisting the expression
of its effects, here and now, on the soil of our homeland." |
