The Fourth Anniversary of the US Invasion of Iraq by Nadia Keilani

On the fourth anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq, come listen and take part in a discussion assessing the disastrous political, socio-economic and humanitarian impact of the US occupation on Iraq, its people and the entire Arab East.

The discussion will be followed by a showing of the Film "No Where to Flee" about Palestinians who fled Iraq and are currently stranded on its borders with Syria and Jordan. Subtitles in English. No Where to Flee is an October 2006 film (20 min).

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Nadia Keilani was born in Baghdad, Iraq. She immigrated to the United States at the age of nine. She is an anti-war activist, current member of Al-Awda San Diego, MECIC and the Arab-American Advisory Board to the Chief of Police. She is a former board member of ADC San Diego. She is a practicing attorney.
