Israel, American Tax Dollars and Palestinian Human Rights

Al-Awda San Diego will be holding a teach-in and discussion on Saturday December 10, 2005 starting 7 pm at the Church of the Brethren, 3850 Westgate Place, San Diego. This event will take place on the occasion of the 57th anniversaries of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the adoption of United Nations' Resolution 194, which affirmed the inalienable, natural and legal right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and lands from which they were dispossessed with the creation of Israel.

The event entitled 'Israel, American Tax Dollars and Palestinian Human Rights' will be in the form of a teach-in and discussion, and will include brief presentations of the issues involved.

This event is free of charge and open to the public

All welcome and encouraged to attend in an effort to help foster an understanding of some very serious issues that not only affect Palestinians, but every American as well.

Directions: From I-805 exit and turn right onto Home Avenue (0.2 miles). Turn right onto Gateway Drive (0.3 miles). Turn right onto 39th Street followed by a left onto Westgate Place.

Parking: free either on the street or in the parking lot.
