Emergency San Diego Demonstrations! Stop the War Crimes in Rafah
Now! Stop US
Complicity! End All US Aid to Israel!
In response to the massive ongoing operation by Israeli occupation
forces to destroy hundreds of Palestinian homes in Rafah refugee camp in the
Gaza Strip, we join in the world-wide protests of these war crimes. Palestinian
refugees in Rafah once again find themselves homeless looking
for refuge as Caterpillar bulldozers are used by the Israeli army to demolish
their homes. In the last 24 hours, 19 Palestinians including 2 children have
been killed and dozens of homes have been demolished. According to UNRWA, in
the last three years, over 12,600 Palestinian residents of Rafah refugee camp
have been made homeless by the Israeli occupation forces.
This latest attack
on the Palestinian people is a continuation of a process of ethnic cleansing
that Israel has been accelerating under the Sharon government with explicit
approval from the Bush administration. The US must stop its complicity
in these war crimes by ending all military, economic and other
aid to Israel.
